Market:
Virtually all organisations within the UK and Europe, across all sectors, now require some sort of IT expertise. The market for jobs is huge, there are over a million people in the UK alone working in IT roles and whether the economy is booming or threatened with a recession there is always going to be considerable staff turnover and a shortage of highly skilled IT professionals, especially where excellent communication skills are required also.
Despite the credit crunch E-Resourcing continues to enjoy robust growth in its business, with continuing strong demand from its customers, many of the roles we are recruiting for being shown on our live roles page.
What to do now:
If you are looking for a permanent role, firstly, please send us your CV immediately ( cvs@e-resourcing.co.uk ) with the type of job you are looking for clearly indicated, together with geographic area and salary expectation.
You should also register on the various internet based job boards appropriate to your skills. You should scan their live roles, use their "alert" systems to be made aware of new appropriate roles as they are advertised, scan the printed media adverts, and also send your CV direct to those agencies that impress you. Where you can, try and visit the agencies and meet a consultant to further promote your image and make you stand out from the other applicants; it will also give you a better understanding of what jobs are available.
As long as you keep your CV up to date, together with your contact details, availability and desired job and geographic area you should find that the recruitment agencies will find you when they have an appropriate role.
